Dylan Goff releases new EP

Originally hailing from Ireland, Dylan Goff is an emerging indie folk artist who’s now based in the Austrian city of Vienna. Using an acoustic guitar and soft synth textures, he caps his sound with his rich vocals carrying poignant lyricism that digs deep and hits home.

In March 2021 he unveiled his sound with the release of his debut five-track EP untethered (side one). Returning almost two years later, he’s just shared the follow up with his sophomore EP titled untethered (side two), offering another five original songs of captivating and timeless indie folk music.

Wrapped up in his delicate arrangements and threaded with his thoughtful songwriting of profound lyrics that pose pensive reflections of the many facets of modern life and the human condition, with his follow-up EP, Dylan Goff delivers a beautiful listening experience that has you hooked on every note and every word.

Full of moving melodic lines, moments of sadness and vivid storytelling themes, on untethered (side two) the artist offers a masterclass in crafting enduring music that builds a deep connection with its listener. Recorded and mixed by Dan Fisher and mastered by Alexandr Vatagin, the artist’s second outing captures the very best of modern singer-songwriter music.

From the stripped back and intimate style of “Digging” to the uplifting energy of “Behold Our Smiles” to the euphoric sonic tapestry of EP closer “Old Argyle Sweater”, Dylan Goff weaves a charming work of art that’s impossible not to love and be moved by.
